Memberships and Swim Lessons Scholarships

The Cincinnati Recreation Foundation raises money to scholarship Cincinnati's swimmers to get a free CRC membership and free swim lessons for the summer.

CRC’s “I CAN SWIM!” Project and Scholarship program is American Red Cross instruction designed to help swimmers of all ages begin, develop and refine their swimming skills. It teaches swimming and water safety and helps children and adults to be safe in and around the water – regardless of the ability to pay. Here’s how the scholarship program works: those 4-17 can earn a pool membership by completing one session of swim lesson classes.

Therapeutic Recreation Programs

The Cincinnati Recreation Foundation raises funds to support the CRC's Therapeutic Recreation programs.

Meeting the recreational needs of a diverse community is fundamental to the purposes of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. Including individuals with disabilities in all programs and services is required by law and is consistent with our intentions to serve all citizens.
