About the Foundation
The Cincinnati Recreation Foundation was established in February 1996 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to aid and improve the quality of life for Cincinnati citizens. This is accomplished by supplementing the services offered by Cincinnati Recreation Commission. This goal is only achieved through the generous donations of countless individuals, businesses, industries and organizations. Tax-deductible donations give the Foundation the chance to have a direct and immediate impact on the
City of Cincinnati.
How is it organized?
The Cincinnati Recreation Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board works hand-in-hand with Cincinnati Recreation Commission staff and Commission Members to determine the distribution of Foundation funds.
Funds are aimed at aiding recreation programs that the city budget cannot support.
